Where the Heart is.......

My sister, Rachel, and her family came up this weekend. Her family consists of my brother in law, Chris, Jackson (4), and Julia (1). They came up to watch Tayler play soccer. We went to Tay's game then the boys went to the Children's museum and the girls went baby shopping. It was a fun day! Sunday, we all just hung out and Brian relentlessly played Star Wars with Jackson...I think they equally had a ton of fun with that. It was so nice having family here. You just feel so at home with your family. Thanks you guys for making the trip! We love you!!

PS Rachel took some pics of Brian and I. We were just going for one pic but she took several in the moment when Brian was being silly. There is also one of him being silly with my belly but she hasn't emailed that one to me...I will post when she does.

The '167

How did I end up in the middle of a cornfield in the middle of nowhere? Were we really "hearing from God"? Or, were we just impulsive? I look at the reasons why we left Tennessee- the ministry was very intense, our marriage needed to be focused on and we wanted to provide a better life for Tayler. At the time we were a part of a growing ministry in the inner-city and foster parents to two beautiful girls that we had hoped to adopt. We knew that moving anywhere out of state would surely mean saying good-bye to them forever. But, since we didn't know how long they would be in foster care we could not base our lives around them. If we had we probably would not have stayed together long enough anyway.

Devotional

I had to lead devotions today for our team meeting so I thought I would share. Enjoy!

Seeking God first in your everyday life

There are some practical ways/tools to seek God first in your life. They require action on our part but are far more rewarding than the sacrifice for us.

1. Seeking God first on a daily basis: I know personally that when I set time apart first thing in the morning, I begin to become more aware of His presence throughout the day. A while back when I had more questions for God than answers and more anger than peace, I (only by God’s grace) began to get up just ten minutes early. I knew that this discipline was something that could help heal my heart and draw me closer to God. I would light a candle, turn on worship music, and begin to be silent before God. I would also have a time of prayer and reading. In turn, after a few days, I yearned for more time with God. Getting up became easier and I looked upon the day with anticipation. Ten minutes turned to fifteen and fifteen to twenty as I sensed the cobwebs falling off my heart and strongholds tearing down. There are several disciplines I am passionate about but ultimately they all come out of seeking God first on a daily basis. I wanted to share some tools that I use to help create an environment of deeper intimacy.

2. The candle: Each morning the candle represented Christ in the room with me. This helped me to visually recognize that He was right there-right then. Sometimes when we are having a quiet time, it is hard to really believe Christ is there in the room. We feel like our prayers are going nowhere and reading the Word is just dry. In fact, He is in us, but we don’t always “feel” like this is true. Having the candle lit, can help us to remember this truth first thing in the morning. I believe this will not only create a deeper level of intimacy during your quiet time but also affect the way you go throughout your day.

3. Worship/Praise music: I have found that having music on during my quiet time (is this an oxymoron?) helps to usher in the presence of God. I know for me, that when I am singing praise or meditating on the words of the song, I begin to remember not only that He is there with me but I also begin to remember His promises for me. Remembering God’s promises can be very powerful as we all face trying times and times of doubt and despair. In fact, the bible talks about worship being used to tear down strongholds and even defeating armies! I have experienced this to be true. I may start off in a bad mood, but after listening to praise music, my mood has changed, my spirit has lifted, and I begin to experience peace.

4. Being silent: I am sure you all know that being silent for me is no easy task. However, as I began to practice this discipline, I began to hear that small quiet voice more often. I believe this was the Holy Spirit speaking to me. In fact, this is how God revealed to me I was pregnant! It was during one of these times, on January 24th, that I was sitting in silence all ready to “listen” to God. I lit my candle, turned on the music, closed my eyes , and became silent. I sensed the Holy Spirit telling me to get out an extra pregnancy test I had and take it. I started to ignore the voice as I didn’t want to see yet another negative result…(after seven years, you take a lot of tests) So, I hushed that voice and began to pray….God, I want to hear your voice this morning…lead me in this time. After a few nudges, I heard clear as day, I AM SPEAKING TO YOU RIGHT NOW….CLOSE YOUR BIBLE AND GO TAKE THAT TEST! Fine, I thought, I will! Sure enough, that is the day, we found out we were indeed pregnant after seven years of trying.

5. The Word: The bible is a very powerful weapon used to defeat the enemy of our lives. I believe the bible not only reminds us of God’s character but also grows ours as well. There are so many benefits to reading the Word each day…first thing. As you begin to read just a little bit a day, you begin to hunger for more. The bible also reminds us of the power available to us to help us conquer those negative things in our lives. As you read more, you memorize more, and you will begin to notice the Word springing up out of your heart just when you need it. This will also help you to encourage others around you with a perfect word in due season.

6. Prayer: Prayer is something I am very passionate about but will talk about at a later time. However, I would allow time for prayer all throughout the quiet time. As the Holy Spirit brought people to mind to lift up, I would pray. Ultimately, this is Him praying through me. Prayer draws us closer to God and helps get our mind in line with His….said differently, our will in line with His. Prayer is a direct link to God for us. We can pray without ceasing simply by speaking to God like we would a friend…lifting up concerns and praises to Him throughout the day. While having times of uninterrupted prayer are important, praying throughout the day is also a great way to experience God.

Overall, these quiet times are used to glorify God in our lives. Yes, they give us peace and help us, but our motive should be to glorify God. I know for me, this can only be my motive, when HE makes it my motive. I encourage each of you to begin setting apart ten minutes at the start of your day to seek God first. I know that you will experience deeper intimacy with Christ and His transforming power when you do so. You will begin to walk in the joy that is available only IN HIM. You will begin to notice your attitude changing, your relationships healing, and your character growing. You will begin to practice the presence of God and become who God has ordained you to be.

Scripture:

Seeking God:

Matthew 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Matthew 7:8
For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

The candle/presence of God:

Psalm 16:11
You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Psalm 89:15
Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O LORD.

Worship/Praise music:

Joshua 6:5
When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have all the people give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the people will go up, every man straight in."

Exodus 15:2
The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him.

The Word of God:

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Matthew 13:23
But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown."

Prayer:

1 Kings 8:28
Yet give attention to your servant's prayer and his plea for mercy, O LORD my God. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day.

2 Chronicles 7:15
Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.

Happy Mother's Day

I was wondering how this day would unfold. I've had a sense of dread as it approached. But, here goes...

Mom, I love you and I miss you. I know we didn't talk the last several years you were here but I thought about you often. As parents we often hope our children will understand and appreciate the sacrifices and decisions we made while they were kids. I think of the traditions you instilled in us and a sense of belief in ourselves. I'm sure my life has been more influenced by you than even I realize.

For the rest go here...

To Karin:
I always believed you were a good mom. I saw how you loved Tayler and it was one of the qualities that drew me to you. Some people wonder if their wives will be good moms but I had a chance to see you in action before we were married. Tayler is who he is today mostly because of you and your love for him.

Now, after seven years, we stand on the brink of having our first child together. I have seen you grow over the years into a more confident person. I have watched you come alive thinking of Baby Hume and wanting to make our house a home for him. I know that he is loved and will grow up in a home with a mom and dad who will help him believe in himself. I am so proud to call you "my wife". You have given me so much and I know our children will call you blessed. Thank you for loving me, supporting me and always believing in me. You are the love of my life and I can't wait to see what the next year holds for us.

Phase Five of my nesting!

So, of course, Friday, I painted once again. I did the Family room. There is still some things to be done as far as decorating go, but I wanted to go ahead and post pics. The last pic is of all three rooms downstairs. Enjoy the pics!

Ultrasound III

Well we had the most perfect ultrasound today. The tech was able to see all four chambers of the heart along with the brain anatomy. Everything looked great! The tech was fabulous and explained each thing she was looking at. She also got excited when we got excited. It was just so refreshing and relieving. I am posting two pics here but we are also going to post the DVD. Take your time (if you have it) and watch it all the way through. It has several pauses but if you watch it all, you will see some really cool 3D images (she gave us these for free...normal cost-$150!) as well as the chambers of his heart at the end. The top pic above is him about to rub his eyes (you can also see his umbilical cord) and the bottom pic is him punching! He weighs about a pound right now!

PS At the end of the ultrasound, the tech was going to take several more pics for us in 3D but he rolled over and put his head down in the placenta. She tried for about five minutes to get him to move his head but he refused! Too funny! It was very cute!

Ultrasound tomorrow!

Please keep us in prayer as we go tomorrow for our follow up ultrasound. Hopefully, Baby boy Hume will have his head "out of my pelvis" and the tech can see all the parts of his brain that she needs to see. She also has to see the heart b/c they couldn't see all four chambers before. I get nervous before any appt so please keep us in your prayers. We will post pics tomorrow afternoon! I can't wait to see him tomorrow!!

Four rooms down, two to Go!

Okay, so its Friday and you know what that means! I am painting yet again. Today was the kitchen. I am posting pics before, midway, and after. I am so glad to finally have some color in this house. On another note (but not really) our curtains come in tomorrow for our recently converted dining room. I will post pics when we get them all hung up. Any ideas on curtain colors to go with the new red kitchen? If so, let us know!

PS After we hang the new curtains tomorrow for both rooms, I will post pics of both rooms.

Halfway there!

Fetal development in pregnancy week 20:fetus in fifth month This week you're carrying about 10.5 inches and 10.5 ounces of solid baby-miracle-goodness! Their little delicates bones continue to ossify and toughen while their itsy bitsy finger and toe pads are finishing up. Your little monkey now has teeth buds, although they’re hidden beneath the gum line. And finally! Their limbs have reached their relative proportions—no more alien baby! Their cute pink lips are more defined, and might be helping out in a bit of prenatal thumb-sucking. If you have a little boy, then their tiny testes are descending, though they have not yet passed the abdominal wall. What’s more, eyelashes and eyebrows are also visible. At this point, your little one really looks like a miniature baby—and we do mean miniature as your little swimmer currently weighs a mere eighth of their final birth weight. With half the pregnancy behind you, the most significant gains are yet to come!

And how's mom doing? Not that we need to tell you, but your baby may sometimes seem like a kick-boxer in training with no appreciation for your exhausted-pregnant-momma sleep needs. Still, before you start yelling at them to calm it down in there, remind yourself that your busy baby really has no idea if you’re rolling out of bed or cozying up to your partner for a good nights rest. If you have already enrolled in a Lamaze course, consider coupling it with either a swimming or yoga course (or both!) Unfortunately for your sleep schedule, your little independent thinker will continue to operate on their own time table throughout the rest of the pregnancy. And you thought rebellious behavior only started around puberty!

Have you enrolled in a Lamaze course yet? The now-renowned courses teach various alternative birthing and breathing techniques, not to mention the oh-so-valuable lessons involved with natural pain management. (Visit http://www.lamaze.org/Default.asp for more information.) If you have already enrolled in a Lamaze course, consider coupling it with either a swimming or yoga course (or both!). Both forms of exercise focus on controlling your breathing (a large part of the Lamaze philosophy), while at the same time increasing blood flow, strength and flexibility. What’s more, many yoga studios and swimming pools cater to pregnant women (and couples) offering low impact sessions perfect for you and your partner.

PS This is a pic of a 20 week fetus...not our little one:)Although we will have pictures a week from today b/c we get another ultrasound. Hopefully his head will be out of my pelvis and they can get the pics they need! I am starting to feel him move more consistently. There is nothing like it! What a miracle! I was thinking today about just how miraculous it is that after seven years, we actually have a baby growing inside of me! Praise God for this miracle. He truly does "hold the whold world in His hands!"

The Church of Causes

I want to start this by acknowledging that I knew this day was coming but did not know exactly what it would look like. We have been living in a time that many would call the age of denominations. People once clung to their denomination and shunned all others. We see it in our little town where there are only three churches and none of them work together. It's a very odd, old-school way of thinking. It was interesting to trace some of these rivalries back almost two hundred years. Who knows why it began- theological perspectives, church polity, politics. But, we are coming into a time when pastors and denominational leaders are not as concerned about following the denominational policies.

20 weeks (almost)

So, my last belly pic was exactly four weeks ago...I guess that is how I will do them....I am growing by the day but am still not feeling consistent movement. I am really looking forward to it!

Yet again!

I am painting today on my day off. I am painting the formal living room. I am finally doing my colors in the house that I picked out over 18 months ago. I am painting the room Robin's egg blue. It will look fabulous with chocolate, black, and red accents in the room. I am very excited!

Here are the pics I promised!

PS If you are keeping up, this is Phase III of getting our house all finished before Baby comes!

PPS- These pictures do not do the room justice. It's really inviting when you walk into our house. Karin did a great job with it. Now we have visions of grandeur for our family room. We're knocking it out a little at a time. Eventually we'll get to the outside of the house- I just have no green thumb and cannot seem to establish any kind of yard.

A Wasted Life...

I've been hesitant to write anything too personal lately due to several reasons. One is that our blog is becoming more about our little adventure. Two, I've been in such a funk lately I didn't want to write something I would regret. I had thought about starting a new website for personal reflection (and still might) so this can continue in the same way. But, for tonight I'm veering from baby talk specifically and moving towards a more general post.

There have been times in the past few months where I honestly believed I had lost faith. I felt like a pragmatic agnostic. I knew God existed but I'm not so sure if he cared about me. Nothing in the past year has gone according to plan. So, I thought if God had turned his back on me then I would return the favor. I was going through the motions of a loyal servant knowing in my head that my emotions were not right but I could do nothing about my heart. I was as lost as I've felt in a long time and alone. I had been burned out on the institutional church and continued to be disappointed. I knew my bitterness and anger had reached a breaking point when I wanted to basically tell God...well, something that would be inappropriate here. I was driving in my car to pick Tayler up from school and an older song came on the radio. It was "wake me up inside" by Evanescence. The words hit me hard- it probably sounds cheesy but the phrase "save me from the nothing I've become" just rang so true. I felt like I had become nothing doing nothing. I felt if I had disappeared I would barely be noticed. I know every person struggles with feelings of insignificance and this was my time.

It's been a long time since I've been pruned. Church had become comfortable to me- a routine. I was more comfortable with the routine of the Church rather than the being confronted by the Person of Christ. I did my duty, lead the Bible studies, said the prayers, offered counseling and hopefully inspired others to follow Christ. However, my heart had been wrapped in fear, worry and doubt for far too long. I was talking with a friend of mine who is a youth pastor and he said working with jr. high kids is good because they tend to just beleive and not question their faith. He figured we should follow their example sometimes. For me, I've stuffed the questions down for so long. I toed the company line with whatever particular church I was serving. Just in the past few years have I started really questioning and seeking real answers regardless of what is "acceptable". I want to get to the truth- and yes, I can handle it (I hope). I started wondering about what I really believed about the Bible, God, Jesus, Christianity, salvation, baptism, the Church and prayer. I even interviewed with a church and was able to discourse orthodox Christian beliefs. However, the truth of my struggle came out when I preached.

I am at a strange place in my journey. I feel a sense of loss and have, until recently, sensed very little hope. One of my greatest fears is to live a wasted life. I don't want to be searching for answers only to come to the end of my life and see that I was too afraid to move forward. One of my friends rebuked the spirit of fear over my life. I appreciate his prayers and have sensed more hope since then. But, I have to be honest and say that I am still at a place of confusion- which is probably exactly where God wants me to be. I just don't want to be at this same place in five or ten years stuck asking these same questions.

Update: You can go to here for future thoughts and writings.

Baby names?

So, I have been going over baby names for quite a while now.........about eight years to be exact....lol. But, really, we are thinking of what to name this little guy. Originally, we had William and were going to make him a III on the Hume side. But, now Brian is having second thoughts and Tayler hates the name. Tayler votes Chase and really wants us to name the baby Chase. Although, most probably wouldn't have their children help name their child, Tayler will be almost 14 and pretty much a co-parent so he should have a vote:) I have thought of Hayden. I think Hayden sounds cute with our last name. Brian likes Zachariah and it means God has remembered. That has great significance for us but I just can't picture my baby as a Zach. But, I AM big on names with meaning. Hayden nor Chase have strong meanings. So, help us out!! Name our baby!! :)

PS I am really liking Hayden Chase Hume. The more I say it, the more I love it!!

Snip, Snails, and Puppy Dog Tails!

Little boys come in all shapes and sizes,
Shy and adventurous, full of surprises,
With misshapen halos and mischievous grins,
Small dirty faces, and sweet, sticky chins.

They'll keep you so busy, and yet all the while
Nothing can brighten the world like their smile.
And no greater treasure has brought homes more joy
Than a curious, active, and lovable boy!

Well, most of you guessed it, we are having a boy! The tech wasn't there so we had a GE lady. She messed up on the DVD so I don't have it to show you. We do have some pics, but blogger is messed up right now and won't let me post. I will as soon as possible. We will however, most likely be having another one in a week or two b/c she couldn't get a good pic of the head. She said he was "buried in my pelvis" That must be why I am having such round ligament pain. He was very active but it was hard to really see him as well as last time. Thank you all for your prayers!!

Tomorrow is the BIG day!

Watch the blog for our exciting news tomorrow! We will be posting soon after we get home from having our 4D ultrasound. We get to have a DVD of the ultrasound so we are hoping to be able to post that as well. Please pray for me personally to have peace about tomorrow knowing that our baby is in God's hands. Thanks so much!!

PS Felt the baby move quite a bit yesterday and some today! Hooray!

Can you say exhausted?

Today, I painted Tayler's room...finally! He picked out his colors before we moved in over 18 months ago! The colors are the Patriots blue. You can buy team colors at Home Depot. I painted the room once in only two hours and was quite impressed with myself. When I went back up to check on it, it was obvious it needed two coats! I was pretty frustrated! Oh yea, I also knocked over about 1/4 of the paint...nice.

But, other than that, it was alright. I am satisfied now that it is finished. (with the exception of the trim as you can see) We are going to do a mural of the Patriots symbol but that will be about another month or so. We have two rooms down and four more to go before the baby comes. I can't wait until the day that I can post pics of our bedroom actually getting painted along with a new bedroom set. Did I say new? I mean FIRST bedroom set. We have never had one!! I have never had one period! I hope we can get one before the baby comes...b/c as we all know, once the baby comes, all attention and money goes towards the baby! (which is a good thing, I just want my room done first...is that selfish?)

So, here are the pics...hope you can make them out.

It's A........................

No, we don't know yet. However, our ultrasound date was moved up. So, we need your vote. Let us know what you think....boy or girl? Blue or pink? We are excited the date was changed. I keep having dreams about girls but who knows? That could just be my desire in my subconscious! Brian says he thinks boy. So, let us know what you think. The date is April 17th. So check back and see if you are right.:)

PS If you don't have a blog, you can still vote. All you have to do is create a user id.

16 weeks........(almost)

Here is the side pic of the baby bump. Bloggers forgive me for the 14 week front view:) Here ya go!

ps Unfortunately, Tayler took the pic and it is a little blurry. Our camera is messed up and you can't see the pic as you take it anymore. We have to get it fixed! If you click on the picture, you can see a lil' better.

Tayler and his guitar!

Tayler bought an acoustic about a month ago but needed an electric as well. Much to our surprise, a good friend and coworker, presented this to Tayler on Easter. He was so excited. He kept showing us the whammy board(sp?) Today is his first lesson. I am so excited b/c I have always prayed that he would play the guitar. That may sound silly, but I think it is b/c I always wanted to be able to worship in this way. So, it makes me very happy that he is now taking lessons. A friend from church is also doing those. He actually comes to our house, so that is nice. We will keep you updated as we go along!

Murals and More

I have been researching murals for our nursery for quite a while now. I have found some great ideas for girls and boys. I will post some pics of both. These aren't the only ideas I have.....just a few cute ones. Obviously, there would be more to it than just these pics. But, let us know what you think. Again, they wouldn't be exact, but more of inspiration. Brian's sister is a very talented artist so I can't wait to see what she creates. On another note, we went to the Dr. on Friday and she said not to listen to the ultrasound techs in what they told us about the sex. She said it was way too early to tell. What they told us, would be considered more cutting edge ideas about positioning, etc. They were pretty convincing, but now it is up in the air again. We find out for sure on April 23. I can't wait! I think them telling us so early on makes it seem like a lot longer. On another note, I also have felt a few movements but nothing consistent. I can't wait to feel the kicks everyday! That will just be so incredible!

PS Tell us what you think....BOY or GIRL!

Star Wars Egg-stravaganza!

Of course- Star Wars Easter! We don't always color eggs but I saw the Star Wars and just couldn't resist. It was a lot of fun. Typically Tayler gets really attached to the eggs and doesn't want to "hurt" them. It can be really stressful when he starts crying about cracking them. But, this year he just enjoyed coloring and putting stickers on them. I know we'll laugh about Tayler taking the eggs and hiding them from us to protect them.

Have a happy Easter!

Getting the nursery ready!

My friend and I painted the nursery today all while watching her 3 year old and 1 year old. Can you say difficult? There is still touch up to be done, but here are the pics!

Baby Bump 14 weeks

Okay, much to my dismay, this is my baby bump at 14 weeks. This one is for you, Holly!

Painting!

This is the color that I am painting the nursery tomorrow. I was able to match the color to Pottery Barn's color perfectly. This was in thanks to Rachel b/c she did this for Jackson and Julia's bathroom. I only had to get the name and number from her. So, this is it and I will post pics of the room tomorrow.

Nursery to be.....

I have been thinking a lot about the nursery and what it will look like. I have been googling pictures of nurseries and paint colors. My sister, Rachel, decided to let us use Jackson's bedding from Pottery Barn kids. (I hope you can see it in the pics. I think the sheets are gingham green.) Since finding this out, I have been trying to find paint colors that would go well with this bedding. I think I have decided on yellow walls with a pale sage green ceiling. But, I may go with my original pale sage green walls. And of course, Liz is painting the mural as well. I am trying to decide on cherry wood furniture or white. Originally, it wasn't a question. I wanted darker wood. But, again, since finding out that we are going to have this bedding, I am wondering if I should go with white furniture. Rachel also had some gingham curtains made that she is giving us as well.

So, feel free to leave your ideas/suggestions. I would love to hear them!

PS This isn't a pic of Jackson's old room, I googled the name of his bedding, and found this on Ebay.

Our next appt

Our next appt is Friday, the 21st. I can't wait b/c we get to hear the baby's heartbeat again. We definitely treasure that. This appt came up fast. I guess that is b/c we had the ultrasound in between appt's. I am just so thankful that all is going well and that we REALLY are pregnant. It is such a miracle, that sometimes it is hard for me to believe. The next milestone I am really looking forward to is feeling the baby move. I should begin to feel him/her move in the next several weeks. Some websites say I could begin to feel movement this week (13 weeks) especially b/c this isn't our fist child. But, I am figuring it will be closer to 16 weeks. I definitely can not wait b/c that will be such a bonding time.

Your Baby's Development at Week 13 of Pregnancy
At 13 weeks pregnant, your baby can now probably flex its arms and kick its legs. He or she may also be able to put a thumb in his or her mouth, although the sucking muscles are not yet completely developed.

Below is some information from at website that I thought I would share:

Other fetal development that occurs when you are 13 weeks pregnant typically includes the following:

The appearance of fingernails
The beginnings of fingerprints and footprints
The appearance of tooth buds for all 20 baby teeth
The start of vocal cord formation
The movement of eyes (closer together) and the ears (to a normal position)
The appearance of visible ribs
The development of the trachea, lungs, stomach, liver, pancreas, and intestines

P.S. If you are still reading, I just love this picture of the baby chillin'. His/her arms look like they are behind the head with the feet crossed. Too funny!!

Share your Must Have's

I have been registering online today per the advice of my friend, Holly. It was soooo much fun!! I registered at Target, Babies R Us, and Pottery Barn Kids. What I want to know from our blogger friends is, what were the essentials that you purchased.......the must have's if you will? I need all the advice I can get! I don't want to leave out things that we really need. You can definitely get caught up in all that is available. Brian's sister, Liz, is also going to paint a mural for us and I was thinking the inspiration could start with this mural above. Let us know what you think!

First Ultrasound

These are our pictures from today's ultrasound. In the second picture down, the baby looks like its legs are kicked up with its arm behind the head....so funny...maybe our baby will have Brian's laid back personality! In the third picture, the baby is rubbing its eyes and the fourth, the baby is raising its arms with a fist. It was so cute watching the baby also play with its feet!
Our due date stayed the same and the tech's were pretty sure about the sex of the baby.....we were not expecting this at all! We were both amazed by the new technology and the sight of our precious baby!! Thank you for your thoughts and prayers! We are so excited!!
