Nursery to be.....

I have been thinking a lot about the nursery and what it will look like. I have been googling pictures of nurseries and paint colors. My sister, Rachel, decided to let us use Jackson's bedding from Pottery Barn kids. (I hope you can see it in the pics. I think the sheets are gingham green.) Since finding this out, I have been trying to find paint colors that would go well with this bedding. I think I have decided on yellow walls with a pale sage green ceiling. But, I may go with my original pale sage green walls. And of course, Liz is painting the mural as well. I am trying to decide on cherry wood furniture or white. Originally, it wasn't a question. I wanted darker wood. But, again, since finding out that we are going to have this bedding, I am wondering if I should go with white furniture. Rachel also had some gingham curtains made that she is giving us as well.

So, feel free to leave your ideas/suggestions. I would love to hear them!

PS This isn't a pic of Jackson's old room, I googled the name of his bedding, and found this on Ebay.

Are ya'll having a boy or a girl? I love white furniture in baby's rooms, but dark looks good too. I think white makes me feel more "babyish" if that makes sense. Whatever you do, I am sure it will look great! It's fun to plan their rooms, isn't it?

I think if you go with yellow on the walls, you should do dark wood and if you go with green on the walls, go with white.
