Record breaking weekly review and "I want to hear from you" survey!

                                                                  So its that time again....
(picture taken on Monday after a sweaty10 miler)
Time for Chase to sing a song?? No......:)

How about time for an Amazing meal? Not sure I can give you that but I sure can give you Amazing Grass Superfood! This stuff rocks and is so so good for you! Check it out here. http://www.amazinggrass.com/

I put it in my smoothies like this one that consisted of all organic blueberries, strawberries, cherries, chocolate amazing grass superfood, chia seeds and hemp milk....delicious!

and I had one before spinning on Monday night with Mandi...

Get used to this look. I had this baby also on Monday at Boulder Creek with a coworker/friend. let's just say you will see this many more times...
Tuesday morning, I headed to bootcamp with Lisa

Then, Mandi and I took the kiddos dowtown to the Zoo...it was a blast! Afterwards, we went to Red Robin where I got a veggie burger and yummy greasy fries.....

I'm getting ahead of myself...Saturday, I took the day to go shopping and found these super cute wash cloths for my face...dont you love that monogrammed K?

They go perfect with my new all organic, natural, chemical free health care products....

Kinda like Chipolte's practices. I ate here with Brian after a day of shopping....anyone keeping count? yes, thats three times so far! We dont normally eat out at all!! This week, much like my now body is filled with sodium!
Remember that veggie sandwich I told you not to get tired of? Well I hope you didnt because, I almost forgot to tell you...I had a veggie sandwich and fries on Friday night here at our local Penn Station.....I'm thinking my gluten free commitment needs to come back into play here....

Over the weekend, I also enjoyed some fun meals like this one...organic salad with cucumbers, red onion, tomato, cranberries, chia seeeds. Roasted potatoes..and pepper "steaks" Didnt care for the "meat" Just never have been a fan of meat substitutes...just give me veggie and fruits and I'm good. Plant based lifestyle it is!

Okay, I digress. Wednesday, Chase and I went to the park with my bestie, Abby...

After being in the heat, I came home and had this for lunch. Brown rice and tapioca tortilla filled with tomato and  hummus. Topped off with chia seeds. I also had a big salad on the side.

I had this beast for dinner...let's just say dessert for dinner! Organic baked yam topped with organic baked beans. So filling and so good packed with complex carbs and protein!

Thursday came and it was time for bootcamp again-bright and  early!

I was starving for lunch after meeting Abby at the park again and shopping for a pool with the boys...so I made this wrap for lunch. Topped it off with Daiya "cheese"

I had leftovers so I put them on a bed of greens and ate it all up!

I had to fuel up for my run. So I made this organic PB and superfruit jam on hemp bread with cucumbers. I  topped it off with chia seeds and vinegarette on the side

And since we are talking about sides...I also had this entire pan of organic roasted potatoes and onion on the side.....hey, I was fueling up:)

After dinner, I set out on a great 6 mile run with these two friends (and pace setters) Jenny and Summer!

And thus, you have your record breaking review...we ate out yet again! This morning, we woke up at 6 am and went to Cracker Barrel to eat with Brian...he's been MIA all week working very long hours. We've missed him but its a really good opportunity for him. Oh and I had pancakes topped with blackberries! Can you say sugar rush??

After that, Chase and I headed over to Trader Joe's and Whole Foods for our weekly grocery store trip

I got lots of new cool snacks like this for Chase.....

picked up some oldies but goodies like these fruit bars....

Got some yummy pizza topping as seen here.....

picked up these ears of corn and organic papaya for a Memorial Day grill out feast with Chad and Hannah

and I got some avocados for Guac and sandwiches, some kiwi and bananas for smoothies, and good ol clementines for Chase and I to enjoy for sides and snacks. I also got some Tabbouli and flax seed chips

Well, its officially summer for us and this one is out of school! He is busy looking for a job and volunteer opportunities...

Oh wait, before you go....Ran 4.07 miles this Saturday morning with a 9:57 pace! Totaling the week out at 20 miles!

okay, now Chase and I are off to enjoy the pool! What are you doing this weekend? I had a surprise birthday party last night that I will have to write all about next week!

PS Check back next week for new food recipies as well as training updates. Oh, I almost forgot! What is the survey you might ask? A few weeks ago, I started a new blog. http://www.veganistaontherun.blogspot.com/ to chronicle my health, nutrition, and fitness. I have a lot of people email me or approach me asking for recipes and training tips. I thought this new blog may be a fun way to help those interested. Indyhumes would stick to family updates and cute pics of the kiddos....but I am having a hard time breaking away. What do you think? Move over to Veganista or stick to the family website for these updates as well? Leave a comment and let me know. You can sign in as anonymous if you dont have a blogger. I look forward to your responses!
